Summary

Taught By Muhammad is an outreach project aimed at building understanding between Muslims and the wider community. We work across Dundee with a particular focus on regeneration areas.

Description

Taught by Muhammad is an outreach programme promoting good values through the Prophetic teachings. We support our local community through a range of projects:

  • Interfaith curry kitchen with the Salvation Army
  • A food bank which is the first and only full-time food bank in Dundee that delivers across the City
  • ‘Curry kitchen on wheels’ for unemployed lone parents across the City
  • Youth Integration project promoting cultural integration and community learning
  • Community Empowerment project helping support groups of vulnerable adults out of the poverty cycle through budget cooking courses
  • A club for minority elderly men (55+) that works to build their confidence, improve their skills and engage them in mainstream services
