Summary

Bradford New Muslims is a volunteer support group for those who have converted to, or have an interest in Islam. The group is able to provide help and support to those who have become Muslim, or are considering becoming Muslim.

Description

Our services include:

  • Information about Islam
  • Distribution of free Qur’an
  • Books/booklets on Islam
  • Advice and support on becoming a muslim
  • Witness testimony of faith (shahadah)
  • Provide Shahadah certificate and change of name deed
  • Short courses on introduction to Islam
  • How to read the Qur’an and how to perform prayer (salah)
  • Conferences and lectures on Islam
  • Organizing social and recreational activities

 

Our Facebook group (https://www.facebook.com/groups/123708651037769/) aims to provide new Muslims with information on events that are taking place locally and nationally; it also contains interesting articles and advice on issues that are relevant to new Muslims.

Please note that this group does not have any connection with the Bradford New Muslim Project but we support the work they do and endeavour to work with them whenever possible.
